Oral Communication Skills

Many students find that performing in front of an audience helps them gain the confidence they need to communicate effectively, lucidly, and intelligently.Acting onstage teaches you how to be at ease speaking in front of large crowds, and some of your theatre workshops will provide you with additional practise speaking to groups. Furthermore, your experience on crews has taught you that the finest oral communications are clear, concise, and well-organized. Some organisations place such a premium on oral communication abilities that they send management trainees to dedicated training.

Creative Problem Solving Abilities

Participating in theatre plays and classes takes dedication and motivation. These are attributes that college theatre professors, as well as you and your classmates, most likely already possess. In the theatre, you’re frequently given jobs to accomplish without supervision. Chiefs of the crew. Directing.
